In high school, I envisioned myself as a band manager and producer, drawn to the art of arrangement. I enjoyed creating memorable moments with my friends, one who played the guitar and the other on the piano- soaking in the music during our gatherings. In my late 50s, I’ve discovered a love for songwriting. Delving into lyric writing and composing melodies on the keyboard has reignited my creative energy. This journey extends beyond music; it’s about embracing the endless possibilities that life offers.

In college, I discovered I enjoyed writing, which became an anchor during challenging times. As I approached my late 50s, I felt inspired to leave an artistic legacy for my children, diving into writing song lyrics and poetry. With the desire to bring my words to life through music, I reached out to my friend Jeff Ehrlich for guidance. Although he had no formal teaching experience, his willingness to help led us to create ten songs together, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my creative journey.
Songwriting is a profound journey of self-discovery, where every note and lyric becomes a reflection of my innermost self. Each creation is an attempt to articulate the perfect vision that resides in my mind's eye and ear. As I craft my music and lyrics, I strive to translate that ideal into reality. The closer I get to that vision, the more fulfilling the process becomes, leading me to a deep sense of satisfaction as I approach completion.

Welcome to my musical journey! My first lesson introduced me to basics, starting with hand position and the essential "all white" chords in the key of C: C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am, and B. With this foundation, I quickly picked up the chord progression for my first song, "Dream Operator." Each step I take in music reveals new layers and possibilities that inspire me to keep learning and growing! The more I learn about music, the more I realize how much I do not know.

Presently, I have produced music tracks including lyric placeholders for 10 songs. I have at least 15 additional sets of lyrics ready to start the process of connecting words to music. My passion for songwriting drives me to continually develop fresh lyrics and melodies.
